Kan Pisa 2016 – Toccare il Tempo” is the exhibition open-air Japanese artist Kan Yasuda, organized by Studio La Noce, distributed along the squares and streets of the historic center of Pisa from 30 June to 16 October 2016.
The event forms part of the official celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Amity and Commerce between Japan and Italy promoted by the Embassy of Japan in Italy and is organized by the Municipality of Pisa and the Arpa Foundation, in partnership with the Italian Foundation Japan and the Chamber of Commerce of Pisa.
The idea of the exhibition was inspired by a visit of Master Kan in the center of Pisa and the charm that the city has been exerted on him. Hence the project to support its works of contemporary art to the architecture and spaces of the squares and streets of Pisa, rich in history and charm.
